These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Messana Group website and services. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms. Messana Group Pty Ltd (ABN 73 756 917 737) operates this website and provides emergency management training and consulting services.

Services

Messana Group provides emergency management training, consulting, and compliance services including but not limited to:

  • Fire warden and chief warden training
  • Emergency planning and documentation
  • Evacuation exercises and drills
  • Compliance program management
  • Specialist emergency response training

Bookings and Payments

Quotations

All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise specified. Prices are in Australian dollars and are exclusive of GST unless stated otherwise.

Payment Terms

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due within 14 days of invoice date. We accept payment by bank transfer, credit card, or cheque.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made more than 7 business days before the scheduled training: Full refund or reschedule at no charge
  • Cancellations made 3-7 business days before: 50% cancellation fee applies
  • Cancellations made less than 3 business days before: Full fee applies
  • No-shows: Full fee applies

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule training sessions due to circumstances beyond our control, including insufficient participant numbers, trainer illness, or extreme weather events. In such cases, we will offer alternative dates or a full refund.

Training Services

Participant Requirements

Participants must be physically and mentally capable of participating in training activities. Some training courses involve physical activities such as using fire extinguishers or participating in evacuation drills. Please advise us of any medical conditions or special requirements before training.

Certificates

Training certificates are issued to participants who successfully complete training and demonstrate competency. Certificates are typically valid for 12 months, after which refresher training is recommended to maintain currency.

Client Responsibilities

For on-site training, clients are responsible for:

  • Providing a suitable training venue with appropriate facilities
  • Ensuring participants are available for the scheduled training duration
  • Providing access to relevant areas of the building for practical exercises
  • Notifying building management of any planned evacuation drills

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and training materials, is the property of Messana Group or its content suppliers and is protected by Australian and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Messana Group shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services or website.
